After thinking of many different ideas on how to make good use of water bottles, ideas like making everyone in the school reuse their water bottles , have selective days where the school canteen do not supply drinks that water bottle is used, etc, we finally came out with ideas that can really make use of the unwanted bottles that will improve our daily lifes too.
One of the idea was the mass collection of bottles, where all students in our school will pass their unwanted water bottles to us and we will reward them with CIP points, and they will stand a chance to win the competition, with the most bottles collected by a class.
when the bottles are collected, part of the bottles will then be recycled, and the others that have the right dimension that we need, we will use them to make out something useful that we can think of.
One ideas of making good use was mention by our group member, Jielong, of the “water saving tap” where the bottle is connected to the tap, and the water are being sprinkled through holes of the bottle, causing a slower rate of water flowing away, thus lesser water is needed to wash our hands.
another idea was using the bottle caps, placing them under the metal legs of the chair that were worn out, preventing them from making the screeching sound after having lots of friction with the ground.
